Sweet & Savoury Filled Croissants
12 Ingredients
- 6 large croissants
- 1tablespoons lemon juice
- 250grams reduced-fat cream cheese
- 50grams baby rocket
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 1 bunch chives, finely chopped
- 200grams smoked salmon
- 10 mini croissants
- 200grams fresh ricotta
- 2tablespoons icing sugar
- 1 punnet strawberries, hulled and sliced
- strawberry jam (or raspberry jam)
Method
Step 1 of 2
Smoked Salmon Croissants
Combine chives, lemon juice and cream cheese in a bowl. Season. Halve croissants and spread with cream cheese mixture. Top with salmon and rocket. Sandwich with croissant tops. Serve.
Step 2 of 2
Strawberry & Ricotta Croissants
Combine ricotta and 1 ½ tablespoons icing sugar in a bowl. Halve croissants and spread bases with ½ cup jam and ricotta mixture. Arrange over sliced strawberries and sandwich with croissants tops. Dust with remaining icing sugar. Serve.
