- 600grams chicken thigh fillets, cut into 3cm pieces
- 1tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/2 cup sriracha sauce
- 2/3 cup cornflour
- 1L vegetable oil (for deep frying)
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 bunch spring onions, finely sliced
Description
Learn how to make crunchy bite-sized popcorn chicken with a spicy kick. It’ll be ready in only 25 minutes and is perfect to munch on while you watch TV.
Method
Step 1 of 4
Combine soy sauce and half of the sriracha sauce in a large bowl.
Step 2 of 4
Add chicken pieces to sauce and stir to combine. Add cornflour and stir to coat.
Step 3 of 4
Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat until hot. Cook chicken, in 3 batches, for 5 minutes or until golden, crisp and cooked through. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
Step 4 of 4
Combine mayonnaise and remaining sriracha in a small bowl. Transfer chicken to a platter, scatter over spring onion and serve with spicy mayonnaise.
