- 1 brown onion (finely diced)
- 500grams butternut pumpkin (grated)
- 1/2teaspoons dried oregano
- 250grams Simply Steam zucchini spaghetti
- 500grams heart smart beef mince
- 1tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup finely grated light tasty cheese
- 400grams no added salt diced tomatoes
- 4 wholemeal pita breads
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed

Method
Step 1 of 5
Heat oil and garlic in a large heavy-based saucepan over medium heat. Brush pita bread with a little oil and cut into wedges. Place onto a baking paper-lined baking tray and sprinkle over basil. Set aside. Add onion to pan and cook for 5 minutes or until softened.

Increase heat to high and add mince. Cook for 5 minutes, breaking up any lumps, or until evenly browned. Stir in tomato paste, pumpkin, tomatoes and oregano with 1 cup water. Bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 15 minutes or until sauce thickens.

Meanwhile, preheat oven to 200°C.

Bake pita wedges for 6-8 minutes or until well toasted and golden.

Heat zucchini spaghetti as per packet instructions. Divide between serving bowls and spoon over sauce. Sprinkle over cheese and serve with garlic bread dippers.
