  • 100grams halloumi cheese, chopped
  • 1tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2teaspoons sesame seeds
  • 4 medium carrots, peeled and grated
  • 1 stalk spring onion, sliced
  • 1teaspoons rice wine
  • 1 medium orange, segmented and pips removed
  • 1teaspoons coriander, chopped

Description

This crunchy, zesty salad pairs fresh carrots with grilled halloumi and zesty orange. Easy-to-make, this is a great recipe to serve to family and friends.

Method

Step 1 of 4

Fry the halloumi on a pan on a medium heat with the oil for 3 minutes while turning.

Step 2 of 4

Add the sesame seeds and fry for a further 30 seconds and then remove all from the heat.

Step 3 of 4

Serve the halloumi and sesame seeds on a bed of grated carrot and spring onions.

Step 4 of 4

Drizzle the rice wine over the salad and garnish with segmented orange.
