Raspberry & Apple Tarts

- 4 sheet frozen shortcrust pastry
- 1/2 cup raspberry jam
- 385grams can pie apple, chopped
Method
Step 1 of 4
Preheat oven to 190°C. Use a 7cm flower-shaped cutter to cut 24 pieces from the pastry and press into 2 x 12-hole patty pans.

Fill each pastry case with a spoonful of apple and smooth surface. Cover with a teaspoon of jam.
Step 3 of 4
Use a 5cm-fluted cutter to cut 12 rounds from the remaining pastry and then stamp out 12 small hearts from the centres and set aside. Place the rounds on the tarts. Cut out a further 12 hearts from remaining pastry. Place 2 hearts, overlapping slightly, on the remaining tarts.
Step 4 of 4
Bake for 15 minutes or until the pastry is golden. Leave in pans for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool.
