For the .5 for the mash
- 1 pinch salt
- 1teaspoons cracked black pepper
- 2 large lamb shank
- 2tablespoons canola oil
- 3/4 cup vegetable stock
- 2 medium white onions, sliced
- 4 medium flatbreads
- 50grams tzatziki, store bought
- 50grams red pepper sauce, store bought
- 50grams hummus, store bought
Description
A crowd pleasing dish perfect for sharing.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Pre-heat the oven to 150°C. Heat up a pan to a medium heat with the oil, salt and pepper and pan fry the shank for 3 minutes while turning to sear the outside.
Step 2 of 3
Now place the lamb shank into a casserole dish and bake in the oven for 180 minutes with the vegetable stock and onion.
Step 3 of 3
Before removing the shanks to pull apart, toast your flatbreads and serve with dips.
