- 1tablespoons sesame oil
- 420grams can corn kernels, rinsed, drained
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 400grams broccoli, cut into small florets
- 1 carrot, grated
- 450grams microwave white rice
- 2 spring onions
- 1/3 quantity prawn dumplingsingredient tip
- 2teaspoons dried chilli flakes
- 1/2 cup salt-reduced soy sauce
Description
Ditch your go-to fried rice with this flavour-packed recipe topped with juicy prawn dumplings.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Heat oil in a large non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat. Add corn and garlic. Cook, stirring, for 3 minutes or until golden brown. Add broccoli and carrot. Cook, stirring, for 2 minutes. Add rice and cook, stirring, for a further 2 minutes or until heated and vegetables are tender. Add onion. Remove from heat.

Meanwhile, cook dumplings, in batches, in a large saucepan of boiling water for 2 minutes or until they float to the surface. Drain.
Step 3 of 3
Spoon rice into shallow bowls. Top with dumplings. Sprinkle with chilli. Serve with soy sauce.
