- 1.50kilograms pork shoulder, trimmed
- 3tablespoons fajita seasoning
- 2 cup chicken stock
- 8 cloves garlic, skin on
- 2 large oranges, juiced
- 1 medium lime, juiced
- 16 tortillas

Description
Juicy pork carnitas are the perfect centrepiece dish for taco night.
Method
Step 1 of 4
Brush oil all over the pork shoulder and sear on all sides in a pan on medium high heat.
Step 2 of 4
Place the pork shoulder into the slow cooker, tip in the fajita seasoning, chicken stock, orange and lime juice and place the garlic cloves into the sauce.
Step 3 of 4
Cook on low for 6 hours then remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred with 2 forks. Squish the garlic cloves out of their skin and place with the pulled pork in a bowl. Add just enough of the sauce to keep it moist.
Step 4 of 4
Heat the tortillas and serve with the pork carnitas and your favourite taco toppings.
