Description

Creamy and comforting curried sausages simmered with sweet onion, beans and peas. Try this easy one-pot recipe for a cosy dinner in.

Method

Step 1 of 4

Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Cook sausages, turning, for 10 minutes or until browned and cooked through. Remove from pan and thickly slice diagonally.

Step 2 of 4

Cook onion in same pan over medium heat, stirring, for 3 minutes or until softened. Add recipe base, milk and sausage, then bring to the boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, covered, for 5 minutes or until slightly thickened. Add beans and peas, then cook, covered, for 2 minutes or until beans are just tender.

Meanwhile, heat rice according to packet instructions.

Serve curried sausages with rice.
