- 300grams Woolworths spaghetti
- 800grams Woolworths Italian diced tomatoes with basil & onion
- 2teaspoons Woolworths Italian dried herbs
- 840grams Woolworths no-added-salt lentils, drained, rinsed
- 1/4 bunch continental parsley (optional), leaves picked, coarsely chopped
- 1/2 cup Woolworths shaved parmesan (optional)
Description
Make the most of pantry ingredients in this speedy, budget-friendly vegetarian boglonese. The hearty dish will become an instant family favourite.

Swap tip:Lentils can be replaced with any canned beans, 500g firm tofu or 500g beef or pork mince.
Method
Step 1 of 4
Cook pasta in a large saucepan of boiling water for 12 minutes or until tender. Drain.
Step 2 of 4
Meanwhile, combine canned tomatoes and dried herbs in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook, stirring, for 3 minutes or until mixture comes to the boil.
Step 3 of 4
Add pasta to lentil mixture, then toss to combine. Divide amongst bowls. Serve topped with parsley and parmesan if using.
