Description
This simple dessert elevates two delicious summer favourites (rich, smooth ice-cream and cold iced lattes) to new levels of sundae goodness. Grab a scoop!
Method
Step 1 of 3
Place cones in a reusable bag. Seal bag and use a rolling pin or your hands to roughly break up cones.
Step 2 of 3
Reserve 2 cherries with stalks. Cut remaining cherries in half. Remove and discard cherry stones.
Step 3 of 3
Place a little of the crushed cones in the base of two 1½-cup-capacity tall glasses. Working quickly, top each with a small scoop of ice-cream, then a few cherries halves, then a sprinkle of hazelnuts. Repeat layers. Top with remaining crushed cones and a third small scoop of ice-cream. Drizzle with melted chocolate. Sprinkle with remaining hazelnuts. Place a reserved cherry with stalk on the top of each glass. Serve.
