  • 1kilograms beef mince
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 700milliliter passata sauce
  • 2 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs

Description

It's guaranteed to be a beautiful night with these yummy and easy, Lady and the Tramp-inspired spaghetti and meatballs.

Method

Step 1 of 4

Combine mince, carrot, breadcrumbs, parmesan, garlic and herbs in a bowl. Add egg. Season with pepper. Use your hands to mix together well. Scoop 1 tbs mince mixture, shape into a ball and place on a plate. Repeat with remaining mince. Cover and chill for 30 minutes.

Preheat oven to 200°C. Transfer meatballs to a large baking dish. Pour over passata sauce. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, removing foil halfway through cooking.

Step 3 of 4

Meanwhile, cook spaghetti as per pack instructions in a large pan of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and return to the pan.

Step 4 of 4

Divide spaghetti between bowls. Top with meatballs and sauce. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
