- 2 eggs
- 200grams castor sugar
- 113grams butter
- 4grams baking powder
- 20grams cocoa powder
- 5 walnuts, crushed
- 60grams all purpose flour

Description
Flaky, fudgy rich chocolate brownies.
Method
Step 1 of 6
Coarsely chop the chocolate. Melt the butter and chocolate in a microwave. Keep stirring in intervals so it mixes and melts evenly. Once it is all melted and the mixture is uniform, let it cool.
Step 2 of 6
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celsius. Grease pan and line it with parchment paper with high edges on the side which will help us to left the brownies easily when they are cooked.

Combine sugar and eggs well. This should be a uniform smooth looking mixture again. Add the butter and chocolate mixture to this. Make sure it is cool and not hot as the eggs will be cooked otherwise.

Sift the flour, cocoa powder and the baking powder. Add it to the chocolate mixture. Slowly fold the ingredients together with a spatula. Add the walnuts at this stage. You can also add any other ingredients like almonds, hazelnuts, M&M's etc

Pour the batter into the baking dish. Bake for 30-35 minutes until a skewer inserted in the middle of the brownie comes out clean.

Cut into squares once cooled down.
