  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 1/2 cup plain flour
  • 100grams dark cooking chocolate
  • 3tablespoons sprinkles

Method

Step 1 of 5

Preheat oven to 160°C. Cream butter and sugar together with wooden spoon or electric mixer till pale and fluffy.

Step 2 of 5

Add flour gradually and mix with a wooden spoon. Move the mixture to a lightly floured bench and use your hands work the dough until it comes together and forms a ball.

Step 3 of 5

Using a rolling pin or wine bottle - whatever you have available, roll out dough to 1/3 cm - 1/2 cm thickness and use a cookie cutter to shape.

Step 4 of 5

Place cookies onto lightly floured cookie tray and into preheated oven at 160°C for around 12 minutes. The cookies will slightly change colour when done. Allow to sit on tray for 2 minutes then move onto cooling rack.

Step 5 of 5

Once cookies have cooled you can dip half the cookie into melted chocolate or dribble melted chocolate over them then decorate with sprinkles. Once chocolate has set store in airtight container.
