  • 1kilograms lamb, diced
  • 4 large roma tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 1/3 cup coconut milk
  • 20grams flaked almonds
  • 1tablespoons coriander, chopped
  • 4tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 medium green capsicum, de-seeded and sliced
  • 1 medium yellow capsicum, de-seeded and sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
  • 6 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1tablespoons cumin
  • 6 pods cardamom
  • 2 medium white onions, peeled and sliced
  • 15grams ginger, grated
  • 2teaspoons tumeric powder
  • 1teaspoons paprika
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper

Description

An aromatic and creamy korma dish where the spices compliments the sweetness of the lamb perfectly.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Heat up a large pot to a medium heat with the oil and lamb and fry for 3 minutes while mixing. Add the rest of the herbs and spices and fry together for 1 more minute while mixing well.

Step 2 of 3

Add the peppers, onion, ginger, garlic and fry for a further 2 minutes. Add the tomatoes and coconut milk, lower to heat to low, cover and allow to simmer and reduce for 60 minutes stirring occasionally.

Step 3 of 3

Remove from the heat and serve with a choice of condiments.
