Description

Whether it's game night, movie night or a weekend night in, this cheesy loaded dip with bacon and potato wedges will hit the spot. It's perfect for sharing.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Bake potato wedges according to packet instructions.
Instruction tip

To make in the microwave: Place unchopped bacon, in a single layer, on a heatproof microwave-safe plate lined with 2 layers of paper towel. Microwave on high for 5 minutes, turning bacon halfway through cooking, or until crisp*. Transfer bacon to a board and finely chop. Place sour cream and cream cheese in a heatproof microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 1 minute 30 seconds, whisking halfway through cooking. Stir in fl cup tasty cheese, garlic powder, 2 tbs chives and three-quarters of the bacon. Season. Transfer to a bowl. Top with remaining bacon, cheese and chives.

Meanwhile, heat a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Cook bacon, stirring, for 3 minutes or until crisp and golden. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.

Reheat same pan over medium heat. Add remaining ingredients, except 1/4 cup tasty cheese and chives, and cook, whisking, for 3 minutes or until smooth and combined. Stir in 2 tbs chives and three-quarters of the bacon. Season. Transfer to a bowl. Top with remaining cheese, bacon and chives. Serve with potato wedges.
