  • 250grams cranberry sauce jar
  • 180grams camembert cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2tablespoons milk

A delicious way to feed a crowd

Can substitute cranberry sauce for a chunky blueberry jam

Method

Step 1 of 7

Lay out 4 sheets of the pastry and thaw. Put the remaining 2 sheets back in the freezer. Preheat oven on to 220 degrees

Step 2 of 7

Put a couple tablespoons of cranberry sauce on each slice and spread over half the pastry. I use the whole jar between 4 sheets

Step 3 of 7

Slice your whole Camembert wheel up and lay on cranberry sauce. I lay 3 bits of cheese on each sheet

Step 4 of 7

Fold pastry over in half, crimp edges and brush with egg wash . Put on a lined oven tray

Step 5 of 7

Crack egg in a mug and whisk in the milk to make an egg wash

Step 6 of 7

Place in oven, on the centre tray for 15minutes or until toasty brown on the top

Step 7 of 7

A warning for those who want to eat this straight away- Wait for 15 minutes. The cheese inside is red hot, wait, slice them serve.
