- 200grams chopped broccolini
- 400grams tinned tuna
- 1 cup Woolies italian inspire cheese
- 4 eggs
- 1 milk
- 2 chopped capers
- 1/2 black pepper
- 1 onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 sheet puff pastry
- 8-10 cherry tomatoes

Tasty and fairly fuss free mid week meal option.
Instruction tip
Enjoy this cold or hot, it's up to you. Pro tip - the original recipe used red tinned salmon, so you could try that also (I actually prefered it with tuna though) - cheese is adaptable, i usually used just cheddar.
Method
Step 1 of 7
Dice onion and place in a pan with oil, cook on a low heat, just to soften. Add garlic after about 5 minutes and keep on low heat until fragrant but not browned.

Prepare broccolini, wash and chop.
Step 3 of 7
Defrost 2 sheets of puff pastry and add to a flan dish (My dish is quite large- this recipe makes a lot of filling)
Step 4 of 7
Flake tuna and add to whisked eggs before adding milk, cheese, broccolini, chopped capers and pepper.
Add cooked onion and garlic.
Step 5 of 7
Add to the prepared pastry (You can par bake the pastry if you want to before adding the filling)

Bake in a preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until golden on top and set.
Step 7 of 7
Slice tomatoes in 1/2 and add to the top of the quiche (you can add more or less, this is more for presentation rather than adding much to the dish)
