- 2 sheets Woolworths frozen puff pastry, partially thawed, halved
- 4 bananas, thinly sliced diagonally
- 100grams dark chocolate, shaved

Description
Satisfy every sweet tooth with this dazzling banoffee mille feuille. Think crispy puff pastry layered with caramel, cream and fresh banana.
Instruction tip
Variation:Layer this dessert with berries and a choc-hazelnut spread instead of banana and caramel.
Method
Step 1 of 4
Preheat oven to 200°C/180°C fan-forced. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper.
Step 2 of 4
Using an electric mixer, beat cream and half of the sugar in a large bowl until stiff peaks form. Transfer half of the cream mixture to a medium bowl. Fold caramel through remaining cream mixture until combined. Refrigerate cream mixture and caramel mixture for 2 hours or until slightly firm.
Step 3 of 4
Meanwhile, place pastry sheets on trays. Sprinkle remaining sugar over pastry sheets. Top pastry sheets with another sheet of baking paper and another baking tray to weigh down pastry when baking. Bake for 25 minutes or until pastry is dark golden. Remove trays from oven and remove top trays. Allow pastry to cool completely.
Step 4 of 4
Place 1 pastry sheet on a platter. Spread with one-third of the caramel mixture and banana. Repeat process twice, finishing with remaining pastry sheet. Dollop over cream mixture. Serve scattered with chocolate.
