  • 400grams artichoke hearts, drained and rinsed
  • 400grams fennel bulb(s), trimmed and chopped
  • 2tablespoons tahini
  • 1 lemon, juice only
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch freshly ground black pepper

Method

Step 1 of 2

Put all the ingredients in a blender or food processor, and whizz or blend until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and black pepper.

Step 2 of 2

Serve with some grilled Turkish bread, toasted pitta bread, or ciabatta. Alternatively, spoon it over a fresh tomato and parsley salad.
