- 1tablespoons dried yeast
- 2tablespoons raw sugar
- 1 cup water, lukewarm
- 4teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2teaspoons mixed spice
- 4 cups plain flour
- 70grams salted butter
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 2 Granny smith apples, peeled & grated
- 1tablespoons apricot jam
- 1tablespoons water
- 1 packet dried sultanas

Description
These apple and cinnamon buns are simple to make and delicious.
Method
Step 1 of 9
Preheat the oven to 180. In a jug mix lukewarm water, sugar and yeast. Allow to rest until frothy.

Then add melted butter and milk, stir well.
Step 3 of 9
Combine flour, cinnamon and mixed spice in a stainless steel bowl. Then add yeast mixture and combine.
Step 4 of 9
Using a mixer and dough hook, knead for 1 minute on low speed.
Step 5 of 9
Add grated apple and dried sultanas, knead for a further 3 minutes on medium speed.
Step 6 of 9
Cover bowl with a tea towel and set aside for 30 minutes to rise.
Step 7 of 9
Divide the dough into 12 pieces and knead into balls, place on a greased lined tray and cover with a tea towel. Allow to rise for 20 minutes.

Bake at 180 Celsius for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and leave on the tray.

In a small saucepan warm up apricot jam and water and glaze the top of buns.
Delicious served with butter and they freeze really well. Enjoy!
