Description
We love tuna mornay, made a few adjustments and came up with this one
Instruction tip
I love to use the Lemon Pepper breadcrumbs for this - they go beautifully with the tuna
Method
Step 1 of 8
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C
Step 2 of 8
Cook pasta according to packet directions and drain
Step 3 of 8
Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat
Step 4 of 8
Add flour and stir until smooth
Step 5 of 8
Gradually add milk, a little at a time, so no lumps form (I tend to smoosh the lumps against the side of the saucepan as I'm adding). Stir constantly until mixture comes to the boil.
Step 6 of 8
Stir through 1 cup of the grated cheese and then add corn, pasta and tuna.
Step 7 of 8
Transfer to casserole dish, top with remaining cheese and sprinkle over breadcrumbs.
Step 8 of 8
Bake for approximately 20 mins or until cheese is lightly browned.
