Description

Try this hearty Swedish meatball recipe, perfect for those colder nights. Use pre-rolled meatballs for quick prep and serve with a creamy sauce.

Method

Step 1 of 4

Heat oil in a large, deep frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook meatballs, turning, for 4 minutes or until browned all over. Transfer meatballs to a plate and set aside. Add spices and flour to pan. Cook, stirring, for 1 minute or until fragrant.

Step 2 of 4

Gradually stir in stock and cream. Bring to the boil. Reduce heat to medium and simmer, uncovered, for 8 minutes or until sauce has thickened. Stir in meatballs and cook for 2 minutes or until cooked through.

Step 3 of 4

Meanwhile, cook broccolini in a saucepan of boiling water for 2 minutes or until bright green and tender. Drain.

Step 4 of 4

Top meatballs with parsley, season with pepper and serve with broccolini and bread.
