Description
These juicy Spanish meatballs will become a firm tapas night favourite.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Place the beef and pork mince in a large bowl, add the breadcrumbs, half of the paprika and the beaten egg and mix well. Using your hands, roll the mix into small meatballs and set aside on a plate.
Step 2 of 3
Heat the oil in a non-stick pan on medium heat and cook the meatballs for 5 minutes, until browned on all sides. Work in 2 batches if necessary.
Step 3 of 3
Add the onions, garlic and remaining smoked paprika to the pan with the meatballs and cook for 3-4 minutes. Pour over the chopped tomatoes and reduce the heat to medium low. Simmer for 10 minutes, until the meatballs are cooked through.
