  • 700grams chicken breast
  • 1 red capsicum
  • 1 yellow capsicum
  • 1 medium onion
  • 100grams button mushrooms
  • 1 sachet Old el paso spice mix for fajitas
  • 1teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 bag salad leaf mix (of your choice)
  • 2teaspoons caesar salad dressing (optional)
  • 1 lemon, sliced

Description

Simple and easy salad.
Instruction tip
I love how easy this recipe is and I store it in the fridge. You can make a variety of things using the chicken fajitas once cooked. You throw them in a wrap, have them with rice, or add them to a soup to spice it up.

Method

Step 1 of 4

Cut the chicken, capsicum and onions into thin strips. Mushrooms can be cut into half.

Step 2 of 4

Add a tbs of oil into a pan, and add the chicken and fajita mix and stir fry until it's cooked.

Step 3 of 4

Add in the onions, capsicum and mushroom into the pan and mix well. Add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce as well. You would want to stir fry them until the chicken gets a nice char on it. That's where the flavour is!

Step 4 of 4

Once they're cooked through, take them out in a separate container. And start prepping the salad. Put some salad mix on a plate, add the chicken fajitas on top, and squeeze a slice of lemon. Add some caesar salad dressing (optional). Now mix well and enjoy!
