- 3tablespoons soy sauce, reduced salt
- 1tablespoons honey
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled, sliced
- 3 large carrots, peeled, shredded
- 1 large papaya, peeled, shredded
- 1tablespoons fish sauce
- 1 large lime, juiced
- 1 large red chilli, diced
- 1/2 bunch mint, fresh, chopped

Description
This sweet and savoury seared beef salad is delicious with green papaya, if you can get it.
Method
Step 1 of 5
Place the beef fillets in a shallow dish and pour over the soy sauce, honey and 1 clove of garlic. Cover and marinade for 30 minutes.
Step 2 of 5
Place the shredded carrot and papaya in a bowl of ice water and leave to soak for 15 minutes.
Step 3 of 5
Whisk the fish sauce, lime juice, chilli, garlic and a tablespoon of chopped mint together in a small bowl.
Step 4 of 5
Heat a griddle pan on high and sear the beef for 1-2 minutes each side, set aside to rest for 5 minutes then slice thinly.
Step 5 of 5
Drain the papaya and carrot and toss with the dressing. Serve with sliced beef fillet, chopped mint and chopped peanuts on top.
