- 8 pork sausages
- 1 onion, cut into wedges
- 2 large carrots, cut into wedges
- 2 large parsnips, cut into wedges
- 4 garlic cloves, unpeeled
- 2tablespoons olive oil
- 1teaspoons runny honey
- 1 handful rosemary sprigs
- 1teaspoons salt
- 1teaspoons pepper
Description
A budget-friendly and easy-to-make meal, your family will love this roast sausages with parsnips & carrots recipe. Fused with honey and rosemary creates a sweet yet fragrant dish.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Place the sausages, onion, carrots, parsnips and garlic in a large, shallow roasting tin. Toss together with the oil and season to taste.
Step 2 of 3
Place in a preheated oven, 200°C, Gas Mark 6, for 20 minutes, giving the tin a good shake halfway through cooking. Drizzle over the honey and rosemary, then return to the oven for a further 5-10 minutes until golden and cooked through.
Step 3 of 3
Cook 1 sliced parsnip in a large saucepan of lightly salted boiling water for 5 minutes, then add 500 g fresh tagliatelle and cook according to the pack instructions until tender. Drain and return the pasta and parsnip to the pan. Stir in 5 tablespoons crème fraîche and 4 slices of Parma ham, cut into strips. Season to taste and serve scattered with thyme leaves.
