  • 500grams fresh gnocchi
  • 1 brown onion (diced)
  • 2tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 500grams Leggo’s red wine bolognese sauce
  • 500grams beef mince
  • 1/2 cup basil leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic (crushed)
  • 50grams mozzarella (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup parmesan (grated)

Method

Step 1 of 4

Heat oil in a deep frying pan with a fitted lid over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, then cook for 4 minutes or until softened.

Step 2 of 4

Add beef mince and cook, breaking up lumps and stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes or until browned.

Step 3 of 4

Add sauce and gnocchi and stir to combine. Season, then push mozzarella into bolognese surface.

Step 4 of 4

Turn heat to low, cover with lid, and cook for 5 minutes or until gnocchi is cooked and mozzarella has melted. Serve topped with parmesan and basil leaves.
