- 100grams ricotta
- 100grams peas
- 1 egg
- 2teaspoons curry powder
- 1 medium white onion, peeled and diced
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled and mashed
- 1 pinch cracked black pepper

Description
Deliciously crispy exterior shells encase these smooth curried Maltese treats.
Method
Step 1 of 6
Pre-heat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced.
Step 2 of 6
Heat up a non-stick pan and fry the onion, garlic and peas for 5 minutes and remove from the heat.
Step 3 of 6
Once the fried vegetables have cooled slightly, place in a bowl with the rest of the ingredients apart from the pastry.
Step 4 of 6
Roll out the pastry and cut out about 16 circles using a circular glass or cup.

Place a little of the mixture into the centre of the circle, fold up the edges and pinch together tightly.
Step 6 of 6
Place the sealed pastizzis on a baking tray and bake for 20 minutes before serving.
