  • 2 large capsicums
  • 2tablespoons olive oil
  • 1teaspoons oregano
  • 1teaspoons salt
  • pinch chilli flakes

Description

A quick and straight forward side dish that is easy to prepare in no time. It practically goes with any meal or on it's own with fresh bread.

Method

Step 1 of 9

Preheat the oven 250 Celsius.

Step 2 of 9

Prepare a tray with baking paper. Set aside.

Step 3 of 9

Wash and dry capsicums.

Step 4 of 9

Cut in half and lay on tray flat.

Step 5 of 9

Place in oven and bake on 250 Celsius until the skin turns a bit black.

Step 6 of 9

Remove from oven and transfer to a plate and cover with cling film.

Step 7 of 9

Let stand for 15-20 minutes.

Step 8 of 9

Remove all the skin and seeds from the capsicums and slice into strips.

Step 9 of 9

Place in a bowl and season with oregano, salt, chilli flakes and olive oil. Enjoy as a side dish with your favourite meal or just on it's own with fresh bread.
