  • 2 cups thickened cream
  • 1/4 cup icing sugar mixture
  • 2teaspoons vanilla bean paste
  • 1teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 250grams mascarpone, at room temperature
  • 180grams dark chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 2tablespoons espresso coffee, cooled
  • 2tablespoons coffee liqueur
  • 12 sponge finger biscuits

Description

Tiramisu, but a personal serve? Winning. These super simple miniature tiramisus combine all the best parts of the Italian dessert in handheld form.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Using an electric mixer, beat cream, sifted icing sugar, vanilla paste and cinnamon in a large bowl until firm peaks form. Using a large spoon, fold mascarpone into cream mixture until just combined.

Step 2 of 3

Place chocolate in a large microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until melted and smooth. Cool slightly, then stir in the espresso and coffee liqueur until combined.

Step 3 of 3

Spoon cream mixture and chocolate mixture into 8 x 3/4-cup serving glasses, loosely swirling mixtures together. Serve with biscuits for dipping.
