  • 40grams caster sugar
  • 30grams shredded coconut
  • 2tablespoons laksa paste
  • 5grams curry leaves
  • 1tablespoons cooking oil
  • 100grams corn flakes (original flavour)
  • 20grams black sesame seeds, toasted
  • 100grams unsalted peanuts, roasted

Description

I have turned one of my cereal samples into a very popular and addictive snack from Singapore and Malaysia

Method

Step 1 of 4

Preheat oven to 150°C, line a large baking pan. Heat 1 tbsp of cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. Add in the laksa paste and the curry leaves.

Step 2 of 4

Add in the remaining ingredients and give it a gentle stir. Try not to break up the corn flakes too much.

Step 3 of 4

Remove pan from heat and transfer the mixture to a large baking pan. Bake at 150°C for 10 minutes or until crispy.

Step 4 of 4

Store in an airtight container after cooling down.
