- 2tablespoons dry sherry
- 2 cm piece piece ginger, finely grated
- 1/2teaspoons red food colouring
- 2tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 3 cup jasmine rice, steamed (to serve)
- 600grams pork rashers
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 2 bunch chinese broccoli, cut into lengths
Method
Step 1 of 3
Combine marinade ingredients in a small bowl. Arrange pork rashers in a shallow dish. Pour over marinade and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Step 2 of 3
Preheat oven to 210°C. Place a wire rack into a baking dish. Remove pork from marinade and lay in a single layer onto the wire rack. Reserve marinade. Place into baking dish and fill with water to 2 cm deep.
Step 3 of 3
Roast pork for 40 minutes, turning and basting every 10 mins. Serve with steamed rice and Chinese broccoli.
