  • 2 lemons
  • 4 cloves garlic, sliced
  • 1tablespoons Woolworths dried oregano leaves
  • 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil

Description

Made with lemon, garlic, extra virgin olive oil and oregano, this super simple Greek-style marinade is a flavourful way to prepare chicken, meat, fish or tofu and add a touch of the Mediterranean to your meals.
Instruction tip
Cooking tip:
Marinate chicken, beef steak, prawns and fish fillets in the fridge for as few as 10 minutes and as long as 4 hours or overnight. Freeze and store marinated meat for up to 1 month.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Zest and juice 1 lemon. Combine garlic, lemon zest and juice, oregano and oil in a small bowl. Season well.

Step 2 of 3

Slice remaining lemon into rounds and add to oil mixture. Turn to coat.

Step 3 of 3

Use to marinate chicken or vegetable kebabs, or firm white fish fillets.
