- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, sliced
- 1teaspoons cumin seeds
- 2tablespoons cilantro, chopped
- 200grams chickpea flour
- 1teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2teaspoons salt
- 1 cup water

Method
Step 1 of 3
Heat half the oil in a nonstick skillet, add the onion, garlic, and cumin and fry for 5-6 minutes until the onion is golden and softened. Stir in the coriander.

Meanwhile, mix together the flour, baking soda, salt, and water in a bowl and set aside for 10 minutes, then stir in the onion mixture.
Step 3 of 3
Heat a little of the remaining oil in the skillet, add spoonfuls of the onion mixture, fry for 2-3 minutes, and turn halfway through cooking. Transfer to a serving plate and keep warm while frying the remainder of the mixture.
