  • 1/2 cup plain flour
  • 500grams ling fish fillets
  • 1 lettuce
  • 600grams cooked frozen crinkle cut chips, cooked (to serve)
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges (to serve)
  • 5milliliter canola cooking spray
  • 1 egg, lightly whisked
  • 2 cup fresh white breadcrumbs (or panko crumbs)

Description

Try out our fun fish fingers. The kids are guaranteed to love these little snacks, while you indulge in some nostalgia. Enjoy with a cheeky side of chips.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Preheat oven to 200°C. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper. Cut fish into ‘fingers’ (about 10cm long x 3cm wide).

Step 2 of 3

Place flour and breadcrumbs onto separate plates. Place egg into a shallow bowl. Dip each fish finger into flour, egg, then breadcrumbs, pressing on firmly. Arrange in a single layer on a baking tray.

Step 3 of 3

Spray well with oil spray. Cook for 15–20 minutes or until golden and cooked through. Serve with chips, lettuce and lemon wedges.
