- 2 cups elbows pasta
- 125grams Woolworths shredded mozzarella cheddar & pecorino blend
- 1 1/2tablespoons plain flour
- 3 cups milk
- 1 cup salt-reduced vegetable stock
- 25grams butter
- 113grams Woolworths block cream cheese, cubed
- 1teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup bacon bits
- 1/4 bunch continental parsley, leaves picked, finely chopped
Description
For the easiest mac 'n' cheese recipe (we're talking only two steps), this slow-cooked number is your best friend. Just set and forget.
Method
Step 1 of 2
Combine pasta, shredded cheese and flour in a 5.5L slow cooker. Add milk, stock, butter, cream cheese and mustard. Cover with lid and cook on high for 1 hour 30 minutes, gently stirring every 30 minutes, or until pasta is tender.
Step 2 of 2
Spoon pasta mixture into 4 bowls. Top with bacon and parsley. Season with pepper and serve.
