Description
Chocolate dessert cob leaf is a rich, impressive, interactive chocolate dessert that's finished and on the table in only 25 minutes.
Method
Step 1 of 4
Preheat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced. Use a bread knife to cut off the top of the cob loaf, remove the bread from inside the loaf leaving a 1cm shell.
Step 2 of 4
Dice the bread into bite-sized pieces add the hollowed out cob and pieces of bread onto a baking tray. Place into the oven to toast for 10 minutes.
Step 3 of 4
Add the cream to a pot bring it to a simmer on the stovetop. Place the chocolate chips into a heatproof bowl pouring the hot cream overtop. Let sit for 5 minutes before whisking the cream and chocolate together until fully melted.
Step 4 of 4
Pour into the cavity of the cob loaf adding the loaf to platter with the toasted bread and fruit spread around the loaf.
