  • 1/2teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4teaspoons cream of tartar
  • 30grams caster sugar

Description

Simple and crunchy little sweet bites.

Method

Step 1 of 6

Pre-heat the oven to 90°C.

Step 2 of 6

Beat the egg white until stiff peaks appear.

Step 3 of 6

Add the vanilla, cream of tartar and mix until peaks again.

Step 4 of 6

Incrementally add the sugar always beating to keep the stiff peaks.

Step 5 of 6

Transfer to a piping bag and dollop about 20 meringues lifting away from each one as you pipe to form peaks.

Step 6 of 6

Bake in the oven for 60 minutes until lightly browned and hard.
