- 1 cup full-fat milk
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 60grams butter
- 4 cup carrot, shredded
- 1 pinch cardamom powder
- 24 cashew nuts, 12 halved, 12 whole

Method
Step 1 of 4
Dry fry whole cashews in a pan over low to medium heat until golden. Transfer to a mortar and pestle. Grind cashews until they start to release oil.
Step 2 of 4
Melt butter in the same pan over low to medium heat. Add carrot and cook, stirring constantly, for 10 minutes.
Step 3 of 4
Stir milk and grinded cashews into carrot mixture. Simmer for 10 minutes until thick. Add sugar and cardamom and stir for 5 minutes or until a sticky paste forms. Cool.
Step 4 of 4
Roll into small balls and garnish each with a cashew half. Chill until firm.
