- 1tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 slices light tasty cheese, cut into thin strips
- 1 large brown onion, sliced
- 1 spring onion, sliced (to garnish)
- mushroom oyster
- 700grams beef fillet steak whole
- 1tablespoons mushroom oyster, toasted
- 2tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/2 cup bulgogi marinade
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 gem lettuce, leaves divided
- 300grams king brown, shiitake and oyster mushrooms, sliced
Method
Step 1 of 5
Thinly slice the beef across the grain. Place in a bowl with marinade, stir to coat and set aside for 20 minutes.

Cook noodles in boiling water for 8 minutes or until soft. Drain and transfer to a bowl. Add soy sauce and sesame oil.

Heat a heavy-based frying pan over medium-high heat. Add half the oil and the onion. Stir-fry for 2 minutes or until onion is translucent. Add mushroom and capsicum. Season with salt. Cook, tossing frequently, for 2 minutes or until softened. Transfer to the noodles.
Step 4 of 5
Heat remaining oil. Stir-fry beef for a few minutes or until just cooked. Add noodles and vegetables. Toss to reheat.
Step 5 of 5
Divide beef mixture among lettuce leaves. Garnish with sesame seeds and spring onion, then serve with kimchi.
