Method
Step 1 of 5
Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
Line a loaf tin with baking paper, you may have to cut two lines from each end so it fits nicely.
Step 2 of 5
Sift flour, baking powder and cinnamon into a bowl. Stir in sugar.
In a separate bowl melt butter, then mash bananas, add in the milk, eggs, vanilla essence and golden syrup.
Add banana mixture to the flour mixture and stir with wooden spoon or mixer on low for 30 seconds or until combined.
Do not over mix.
Step 3 of 5
Add blueberries and raspberries to wet mixture and fold in gently.
(Do not stir or beat as fruit will break up and colour will bleed through the batter)
Step 4 of 5
Tip mixture out of bowl into prepared baking tin.
Tap on bench once and then into the preheated oven for 40-50 minutes or until skewer comes out clean.
Step 5 of 5
Remove from oven and leave for 5 minutes then turn onto a wire rack to cool completely.
Cut into slices and serve warm with butter or ice cream!
