Description

After an easy dessert? Try these rustic baked apple slices sprinkled with cinnamon and topped with a dollop of yoghurt, perfect for a cosy night in.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Preheat oven to 170°C/150°C fan-forced.

Step 2 of 3

Combine sugar and spices in a small bowl. Place apple in a large baking dish. Add lemon juice, 2 tbs water and sugar mixture. Toss to combine. Cover tightly with foil. Bake for 20 minutes or until apple is just tender. Uncover, stir and bake for a further 5 minutes or until apple is tender and syrup has thickened slightly.

Step 3 of 3

Divide apple mixture among bowls. Dollop with yoghurt and serve sprinkled with extra cinnamon.
