Description

Crispy wonton wrappers stuffed with juicy meatballs – these mouth-watering money bags will disappear as soon as they're out of the air fryer! The tangy dipping sauce adds an extra burst of flavour.
Instruction tip
Swap tip:
You can also add spring onion to the meatballs. Combine onion with meatballs in a bowl, then reshape.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Combine hoisin, sweet chilli, mirin, fish sauce and cup water in a small saucepan. Bring to the boil over high heat. Reduce heat and simmer for 4 minutes or until reduced slightly. Remove from heat. Cool. Add chilli.

Step 2 of 3

To make money bags, place half of the wrappers on a clean work surface. Place a meatball at centre of each wrapper, then bring edges of wrapper up to enclose the meatball. Pinch to form a pouch. Repeat with remaining wrappers and meatballs to make 20 in total. Spray with oil.

Step 3 of 3

Cook money bags in a 5L air fryer, in two batches, at 200°C for 8 minutes or until cooked and golden-brown. Place money bags on a platter. Sprinkle with onion. Serve with sauce.
