- 1tablespoons canola oil
- 1 medium red onions, peeled and chopped into chunks
- 1/2teaspoons chilli flakes
- 2 large red capsicums, chopped into chunks
- 220grams pineapple, canned, juice reserved
- 60grams ketchup, reduced sugar
- 2tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1tablespoons soy sauce, reduced salt

Description
Lighter homemade sweet and sour sauce works perfectly with juicy prawns.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Heat the oil in a large pan on medium high heat and cook the onions and capsicums for 3-4 minutes, add the garlic and chilli flakes and cook for 1 minute.
Step 2 of 3
Stir in the ketchup, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce and pineapple chunks and juice and cook for 1 minute.
Step 3 of 3
Toss in the prawns and cook until pink, about 2 minutes, and serve immediately.
