  • 375grams thin spaghetti
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 long red chilli, deseeded, finely chopped
  • 270grams creamy & crunchy salad kit
  • 1/4 bunch continental parsley, leaves picked, chopped
  • 40grams parmesan, finely grated

Description

Wondering how to cook Brussels sprouts? Try them roasted, then stirred through pasta with chilli, garlic and parmesan. The family will love it.

Method

Step 1 of 4

Preheat oven to 240°C/220°C fan-forced. Place sprouts on a baking paper-lined baking tray. Drizzle with 2 tbs oil. Season. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden and tender.

Step 2 of 4

Meanwhile, cook pasta in a large saucepan of boiling water according to packet instructions. Drain, reserving 2 tbs cooking liquid. Return pasta to pan.

Step 3 of 4

Heat remaining oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook garlic and chilli, stirring, for 1 minute or until fragrant. Add sprouts, pasta and reserved cooking liquid. Toss to coat.

Step 4 of 4

Prepare salad according to packet instructions. Top pasta with parsley and parmesan, then serve with salad.
