- 2tablespoons icing sugar (to decorate)
- 1 lemon (for the icing)
- pretzels (to decorate)
- m&m's mini (to decorate)
- food colour gel (black)
- 12 white marshmallows
- jelly lollies (to decorate)
- jubes (to decorate)
- egg white, whisked (for icing)
- sour straps (to decorate)
Method
Step 1 of 5
To create the head, draw eye and mouth details on the flat side of a marshmallow with food colour gel. Insert a small pretzel piece for the nose.

Lightly whisk egg white with lemon juice in a bowl. Gradually add icing sugar, stirring until smooth and combined. the hat, attach a jube or jelly lolly to the head with a little icing.
Step 3 of 5
Insert a larger pretzel piece to each side of a second marshmallow to create a body with arms, then attach the head to the body with icing.

For the scarf, wrap a piece of sour strap around neck; secure with icing.

To make the melting snowman, pipe an icing puddle onto a round biscuit (see Christmas Biscuits recipe). Add M&M’s Minis for buttons and draw on arms with food colour gel. Draw face detail as before, adding a nose with the food colour gel. Attach a lolly hat using icing. Set aside to dry for 5 minutes then position on the icing puddle.
