Description

Potato Rosti is a simple snack or breakfast that is made using raw grated potatoes. It is quick to make and yummy!

Method

Step 1 of 5

Peel the potatoes and grate them coarsely into a bowl.

Step 2 of 5

Add the salt and toss well to combine.

Step 3 of 5

Heat a pan on a low medium heat. Add butter and swirl the pan around so it is coated evenly.

Step 4 of 5

Add the grated potatoes evenly. Don't press it down. Let it cook for 3-5 minutes until golden brown.

Step 5 of 5

Flip the rosti over. Add some butter to the side of the rosti so it seeps into the bottom of the rosti and makes it crispy.

Tip: Can be served on its own or you can top it with some cheese or butter + salt and pepper.
