  • fresh berries (to serve)
  • 500grams frozen mixed berries
  • 2 cup water
  • 1 cup caster sugar

Method

Step 1 of 2

Place caster sugar and water into a medium saucepan and stir over low heat until sugar dissolves. Add frozen berries and cook for 10 minutes or until fruit has softened. Pour into a shallow metal container and freeze for 1 hour.

Step 2 of 2

Using a fork, rake the surface of the granita to form ice crystals. Return to freezer and freeze for a further hour. Repeat every 3-4 hours or until set. Scoop into glasses and serve with fresh fruit.
