  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 long red chillies, finely chopped
  • 1 chilli, thinly sliced (extra)
  • 1 brown onion, cut into thin wedges
  • 1 spring onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 bunch broccolini, trimmed
  • 1/4 cup oyster sauce
  • 450grams microwave white rice
  • 2tablespoons salt-reduced soy sauce
  • 350grams beef rump steak, thinly sliced
  • 2teaspoons vegetable oil

Method

Step 1 of 4

Microwave rice following packet instructions.

Step 2 of 4

Combine sauces, garlic and chilli in a bowl. Heat a wok over high heat. Add 1 tsp of oil and swirl to coat. Add half the steak and stir fry for 2 minutes or until browned. Transfer to a plate. Repeat with remaining steak.

Step 3 of 4

Heat remaining oil. Add onion and stir fry for 2 minutes or until tender. Return beef to wok with sauce. Toss to combine and bring sauce to the boil.

Step 4 of 4

Meanwhile, cook broccolini in boiling water for 2 minutes or until just tender. Drain. Serve reserved rice with beef and broccolini. Top with sliced spring onion and sliced chilli. Serve.
